Across the world
Researchers are frequently fielding complex multi-country studies – often spanning hundreds of countries and several continents – to gather the data they need. Executing these types of studies requires careful planning and strategic development – deciding on research mode, languages and more.
Utilizing our network of over 38 in-country panels Research Now has assisted clients in successfully fielding hundreds of multi-national studies throughout the Americas, EMEA, and Asia/Pacific. Based on our experiences, we have developed a series of best practices to ensure the success of online multi-country studies.
Translations
Depending on the targeted audience and mother tongue of the country, a survey may need to be tailored to capture valid and accurate responses. At Research Now we are committed to keeping research in the native language of the respondents involved and avoid the assumption that everyone can speak and read English.
Localized survey content
Cultural sensitivity is indeed important when fielding research and could have a dramatic impact on the respondent experience and survey response rates. Our diverse team of professionals understands and is sensitive to cultural differences and helps our clients to understand each market and be prepared to have different response sets for different countries.
Typical field times
When fielding multi-country surveys, we recommend to estimate 7 to 10 days in field for a typical consumer survey and 10 to 14 days in field for a typical B2B survey. As the time it takes to reach respondents varies by country, it is important that time is allocated appropriately within your project schedule to accommodate varying streams of data collection.
