Since 2005, the number of adults living in cell-phone only households has grown considerably.
In January of 2008, approximately 18% of U.S. adults were reported to be cell-phone only and, increasingly, demographic groups such as young adults and minority populations are significantly more likely to have only mobile only service.
Due to this growing trend, researchers are experiencing increased under-representation when conducting surveys using RDD (random digit-dialing) telephone sampling.
But we can help to supplement your RDD telephone sample with pre-screened cell-phone only respondents. We have pre-profiled cell-phone only adults on our panels who agree to be contacted by phone. We also operate a panel of Research Now Mobile survey respondents that you an access for surveys via their mobile device (or recruit them to a phone interview).
